We have teamed up with ASTT(e)Q to provide specialized support to those recovering from gender affirming surgeries in Montreal. Priority given to individuals who don’t have the community support necessary for recovery.

If you have received a surgery date, reach out to us to set up a meeting with an intervention worker. We will connect you with our amazing network of volunteers who have been trained by ASTTeQ staff with a harm reduction and trauma-informed approach. Our volunteers are trained to know about gender affirming surgeries, what to expect and how to support the self-advocacy of people in recovery.

• Medication pickups
• Meal preparation
• Medical appointment accompaniments
• Lifts
• Help with recovery-related planning
• Peer support
